When I worked as an HR Analyst from 2021 – 2023, a major sticking point and area for improvement was the need for clarity surrounding the company’s parental leave benefits. With employees across 20+ states, the process and requirements for making the most of parental leave varied wildly from case to case. Many employees (and our team!) were confused and overwhelmed with the parental leave process, leading to a need for more educational materials. While I dedicated several pages of our company intranet to further resources and guides, below was a master FAQ document I created to help guide our employees through the process.
